How to test Rosemount transmitters to improve performance?

When understanding Rosemount transmitters, the most important thing is to understand some calibration issues. Only by fully understanding the calibration issues of Rosemount transmitters can we ensure convenience in the later use of Rosemount transmitters. Today, the technical editor from Shaanxi Huibo Electromechanical will teach you how to test Rosemount transmitters to improve performance.

Under normal operating conditions, the Rosemount transmitter can be calibrated according to the following steps:
First, close the negative pressure side isolation valve and open the balance valve.
Second, close the positive pressure side isolation valve and close the balance valve.
Third, remove the positive calibration port nut and negative calibration port nut of the Rosemount transmitter, then connect the DPI615 to the positive pressure side calibration port of the Rosemount transmitter with a pressure line, and expose the negative pressure side calibration port to the atmosphere.
Fourth, connect the corresponding calibration instrument according to the power supply mode of the Rosemount transmitter, either active or passive.
Fifth, check the range of the Rosemount transmitter and adjust it to meet engineering requirements. While maintaining 4mA, adjust the output current of the calibration instrument to 4mA at the corresponding pressure, and while maintaining 20mA, adjust the output current of the calibration instrument to 20mA at the corresponding pressure.
Sixth, use the DPI615 to apply pressure, perform calibration at five points in the ascending direction, and record the corresponding output current values of the calibration instrument on the calibration sheet. Then, perform calibration at five points in the descending direction and record the output current values corresponding to each pressure point on the calibration sheet.
After completing the above calibration process steps for the Rosemount transmitter, compare the data obtained from the calibration with the standard data on the calibration sheet, calculate the error, and determine the calibration result. If the calibration result meets the error requirements of the Rosemount transmitter, the work is concluded. If not, adjustments should be made according to the manual, and the above steps should be repeated to complete the relevant calibration.
The above introduction mainly focuses on the calibration of Rosemount transmitters. It is hoped that this introduction can help everyone further master calibration techniques and solve more related calibration issues in practical production applications.
