【Share】Maintenance methods for Rosemount transmitters after use

Generally speaking, when we talk about whether a transmitter is good or bad, stability and service life are key indicators for measuring its quality. Similarly, when usingRosemount transmitters, if we only use them without proper maintenance, even the best Rosemount transmitter will not have a long service life. Today, the technical editor from Shaanxi Huibo Electromechanical will share with youthe maintenance methods for Rosemount transmitters after use.
1. When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, a buffer tube (coil) and other condensers should be connected to prevent the working temperature of the Rosemount transmitter from exceeding the limit.
2. When wiring, pass the cable through the waterproof joint or flexible pipe and tighten the sealing nut to prevent rainwater and other substances from leaking into the Rosemount transmitter housing through the cable.
3. In winter, when freezing occurs, Rosemount transmitters installed outdoors must take anti-freezing measures to avoid the liquid in the pressure port expanding due to freezing, which could lead to sensor loss.
4. When measuring gas pressure, the pressure tapping point should be opened at the top of the process pipeline, and the Rosemount transmitter should also be installed at the upper part of the process pipeline to facilitate the accumulation of liquid into the process pipeline.
5. Prevent debris from accumulating in the pressure guiding tube and avoid contact between the Rosemount transmitter and corrosive or overheated media.
6. When measuring liquid pressure, the installation position of the Rosemount transmitter should avoid liquid impact (water hammer phenomenon) to prevent sensor damage from overpressure.
7. The pressure guiding tube should be installed in a location with minimal temperature fluctuations.
8. When measuring liquid pressure, the pressure tapping point should be opened on the side of the process pipeline to avoid sediment accumulation.
The above are the maintenance methods shared by our technical editor.the maintenance methods for Rosemount transmitters after use.We hope that customers will pay more attention to maintenance when using Rosemount transmitters, so that they can be used for a longer time.
