How to set the parameters for the Fisher DVC2000 smart valve positioner?
The Fisher DVC2000 smart valve positioner is a commonly seen single-acting digital valve positioner in our factory. It can convert a 4-20mA output signal into a pneumatic output signal to drive the control valve actuator. Its biggest highlight is its simplicity and ease of use, with a compact design that is easy to install. Typically, after purchasing the Fisher DVC2000 smart valve positioner, we need to set its parameters. Today, a technical editor from Shaanxi Huibo Electromechanical will teach you how to set the parameters of the Fisher DVC2000 smart valve positioner.

Parameter Settings:
1. Operation Method: Press and hold the four keys (up, down, left, right) simultaneously for 3 seconds, then use the up and down keys to select the desired language from seven options. After that, press the right key to confirm.
2. Then set the parameters according to whether the valve actuator is normally open or normally closed.
Operation Method: Press the down key to find the 'Detailed Settings' option, then press the right key to confirm and enter.
If the valve actuator is:
Normally Open (FC): Press the right key to find the 'Zero Control Signal' item, then use the up and down keys to select 'Valve Closed' and press the right key to confirm.
Then press the right key to find the 'Stroke Transmitter Output 4mA' item, use the up and down keys to select 'Valve Closed' and press the right key to confirm.
Normally Closed (FO): Press the right key to find the 'Zero Control Signal' item, then use the up and down keys to select 'Valve Open' and press the right key to confirm.
Then press the right key to find the 'Stroke Transmitter Output 4mA' item, use the up and down keys to select 'Valve Closed' and press the right key to confirm.

3. Stroke Automatic Calibration Settings
Operation Method: Press the down key to find the 'Stroke Calibration' item, press the right key to confirm and enter, then use the up and down keys to select 'Automatic' and press the right key to confirm. The LCD will display 'Press the right key for 3 seconds, the valve will actuate.' Then follow its prompts to operate, and it will automatically search through the entire stroke of 0%, 100%, and 50%. After completion, press the right key to confirm. Note: Do not exit during the search; pressing any key will not work, and you must wait until the entire stroke is completed.
4. Set the gain code (C~M); C is the slowest valve action, and M is the fastest. Choose appropriately, generally set to 'L', based on the valve not oscillating.
5. Other parameter settings are already set at the factory and do not need to be changed. Please refer to the FISHER DVC2000 parameter setting table.

Common faults and troubleshooting methods: If there is no output air pressure or there is continuous air pressure output, it is caused by I/P blockage. Remove and clean it.
