How to install the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter using flanges?

Users who have used the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter know that it mainly measures gases, liquids, and flow. When measuring liquids and flow, we often need to use process flanges for installation. Today, the technical editor from Shaanxi Huibo Electromechanical will introduce how to install the process flange for the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter, hoping to help everyone in the future installation process.
We know that when installing the process flange for the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter, bolts and screws are essential. The difference between bolts and screws is that screws are directly threaded into one of the threaded holes of the Rosemount 3051C connected component without the need for nuts; while bolts do not thread into the connected component but are fixed in place by fitting with nuts.
The optional components generally required for the installation of the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter's process flange include: co-planar process flanges, co-planar process flanges with flange adapters, and matching valve groups from series 304, 305, and 306.
Step 1: Check and replace the PTFE O-ring of the sensor module.
Step 2: Install the process connection - process connection and valve group.
Step 3: Tighten the bolts to the initial torque value in a cross pattern.
Bolt installation torque value requirements:
Bolt materials:
1. CS-ASTM-A445 standard
2. 316 stainless steel – option L4
3. ASTM-A-19 B7M – option L5
4. ASTM-A-193 Class 2, B8M grade – option L8
Initial torque value:
1. 34 N-m (300 in-lb.)
2. 17 N-m (150 in-lb.)
3. 34 N-m (300 in-lb.)
4. 17 N-m (150 in.-lb)
Final torque value:
1. 73 N-m (650 in-lb.)
2. 34 N-m (300 in-lb.)
3. 73 N-m (650 in-lb.)
4. 34 N-m (300 in.-lb)
