How to install a three-valve manifold on a Rosemount differential pressure transmitter?

In general, the three-valve manifold is often used in conjunction with differential pressure transmitters. The function of the shut-off valves on both sides is to connect or disconnect the positive and negative pressure measurement chambers with the pressure tapping points; the middle balancing valve connects or disconnects the positive and negative pressure measurement chambers.

Method for installing the three-valve manifold to the Rosemount differential pressure transmitter:
1. Align the conventional valve manifold with the transmitter flange. Use four valve manifold bolts for positioning.
2. Tighten the bolts by hand, then gradually tighten the bolts in a cross pattern to the final torque value. For complete bolt installation instructions and torque values, please refer to the 'Flange Bolts' on page 10. When fully tightened, the bolts should penetrate the top of the sensor module housing.
3. Perform a leak check on the assembly according to the maximum pressure range of the transmitter.
Method for installing the integrated valve manifold to the Rosemount pressure transmitter:
1. The integrated valve manifold is only used with the 3051T online mounted transmitter.
2. When assembling the integrated valve manifold to the 3051T online mounted transmitter, thread sealant should be applied.
The valve manifolds are divided into two-valve, three-valve, and five-valve groups, all of which can be used on Rosemount pressure transmitters. The installation method mentioned above is what we will discuss today regarding how to install the three-valve manifold onto the Rosemount differential pressure transmitter. Through the above installation methods, we hope it will be useful for everyone in the future installation of the three-valve manifold. If there are any questions, please feel free to call for further inquiries.
