From November 1 to 3, 2021, the 2021 World Sensor Conference and Exhibition was successfully held at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Henan Province, organized by the China Association for Science and Technology and the China Instrument and Control Society, and hosted by the People's Government of Henan Province, with important units such as the Zhengzhou Municipal Government, Henan Science and Technology Association, and Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology participating. Talents gathered, and leaders from industry, academia, and research discussed the development trends of sensor technology in various fields, collaborated on the development planning of the sensor industry, and promoted the upgrading of the sensor industry. The conference mainly consisted of three parts: the keynote report session of the 2021 World Sensor Conference, the award ceremony of the 2021 China (International) Sensor Innovation Competition, and the 2021 World Sensor Conference and Exhibition.

Talents gathered, and leaders from various sectors of industry, academia, and research discussed the development trends of sensor technology in various fields and collaborated on the development planning of the sensor industry to promote the upgrade of the sensor industry. The conference mainly consisted of three parts: the keynote report session of the 2021 World Sensor Conference, the award ceremony of the 2021 China (International) Sensor Innovation Competition, and the 2021 World Sensor Conference Exhibition.
On the first day of the conference, the keynote report session of the 2021 World Sensor Conference was hosted by Liu Qin, Deputy Chief Engineer of Shenyang Institute of Instrumentation Science Co., Ltd., Executive Deputy Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Sensors, and a professor-level senior engineer. Mr. Wolfgang Lin, Director of Sales Operations Excellence at Siemens (China) Co., Ltd., delivered a speech at the keynote report session.
The next day, the 2021 China (International) Sensor Innovation Competition was organized by the organizing committee of the World Sensor Conference, with Panasonic Shenji Electronics (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. as the supporting unit. The competition set up two categories: 'Innovative Product Group' and 'Innovative Application Group'. The conference invited many well-known experts to form a judging committee, which conducted preliminary evaluations of domestic and international entries on October 25-26, selecting outstanding teams to compete in the finals on November 1 at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Ultimately, Kunshan Reying Optoelectronics won the first prize in the Innovative Product Group, and Zhengzhou Xinda Advanced Technology Research Institute won the first prize in the Innovative Application Group.
The third day marked the official opening of the 2021 World Sensor Conference Exhibition. This exhibition covered nearly 10,000 square meters and featured 200 domestic and international companies actively participating. The exhibition focused on sensor research and development innovation, with an emphasis on sensor system integration and applications, covering sensor applications, standard development, and related components, showcasing the sensor industry ecosystem with upstream and downstream related enterprises.
