  Installation of the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter:
Do not apply torque directly to the electronic housing of the pressure transmitter. To avoid damage to the housing, torque can only be applied to the hexagonal process connection.


  1. Installation requirements for the pressure transmitter when measuring liquid pressure:


① Install the diverter connection on the side of the pipeline.
② Install the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter on the side or bottom of the diverter connection.


  2. Installation requirements for the pressure transmitter when measuring gas pressure


① Install the diverter connection on the side or top of the pipeline.
② Install the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter at a horizontal position or on top of the diverter connection.


  3. Installation requirements for the pressure transmitter when measuring steam pressure


① Install the diverter connection on the side of the pipeline.
② Install the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter on the side or bottom of the diverter connection.
③ Fill the pressure sensing line with cooling water.


  Direction of the gauge pressure transmitter:
The low-pressure side pressure port (atmospheric pressure reference end) is located at the neck of the gauge pressure transmitter, behind the electronic housing. The channel of this pressure port is located between the housing and the pressure sensor, surrounding the Rosemount transmitter360 degrees. (See Figure 1.)
