Common error codes and solutions for ABB TZID-C smart locator

The ABB TZID-C is a digital intelligent positioner with a wide range of applications, suitable for single and double acting, linear and angular stroke actuators. It supports Hart communication. It is vibration resistant, providing reliable operation in a 10G @ 80HZ vibration environment, making it suitable for all harsh conditions. However, when the ABB TZID-C intelligent positioner encounters errors during debugging or operation, it will display common error codes. Today, the technical editor from Shaanxi Huibo Electromechanical will introduce the common error codes of the ABB TZID-C intelligent positioner and their solutions.
Error Code: ERROR10
Meaning: Power supply voltage is open circuit or voltage is too low for more than 20 milliseconds.
Displaying this error indicates the reason for the reset after resetting the device.
Solution: Check the power supply and wiring.
Error Code: ERROR11
Meaning: Power supply voltage drops below the minimum voltage.
Impact: The actuator runs to a safe position, and about 5 seconds later, the TZIDC/TZIDC-200 positioner automatically resets and restarts, displaying error information. If the local communication interface (LKS) is connected, the device will enter the operational mode 'LKSSupply'.
Solution: Check the power supply and wiring.
Error Code: ERROR12
Meaning: The position is outside the detection range of the sensor, most likely due to incorrect positioning of the position sensor.
Impact: In control mode, the actuator runs to a safe position.
In parameter configuration level, the output port does not have air source output until any key is pressed. About 5 seconds later, the TZIDC/TZIDC-200 positioner automatically restarts in control mode and parameter configuration level.
Solution: Check the assembly method.
Error Code: ERROR20
Meaning: EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) cannot access data.
Impact: The actuator runs to a safe position, and about 5 seconds later, the TZIDC/TZIDC-200 positioner automatically restarts and attempts to recover data, compensating for intermittent errors in the communication environment with EEPROM.
Solution: If EEPROM data cannot be accessed after restarting the device and loading factory settings, it needs to be returned to the manufacturing factory for repair.
Error Code: ERROR21
Meaning: An error occurred pointing to an error point while processing measurement values in the working data area (RAM).
Impact: The actuator runs to a safe position, and about 5 seconds later, the TZIDC/TZIDC-200 positioner automatically resets and initializes the RAM.
Solution: If the error still exists after restarting the TZIDC/TZIDC-200 positioner, it needs to be returned to the manufacturing factory for repair.
Error Code: ERROR22
Meaning: An error occurred pointing to an error point while processing tables in the working data area (RAM).
Error Code: ERROR23
Meaning: An error occurred when checking the checksum of the configuration data (RAM).
